About Ability KC
Ability KC is the longest-standing comprehensive outpatient medical rehabilitation facility in Kansas City, nationally accredited and recognized as a leader in value-based care. Founded in 1947 through two organizations — Children's Therapeutic Learning Center and Rehabilitation Institute of Kansas City — that merged under the Ability KC name, the organization serves over 3,000 individuals and families annually. Services span outpatient medical rehabilitation, a NAEYC-accredited therapeutic preschool, ABA behavioral services, employment programs, neuropsychological services, assistive technology, and driving evaluation and training. Ability KC is CARF accredited and serves children, adolescents, adults, and seniors with disabilities.
