About The Association for Individual Development
The Association for Individual Development (AID) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit human services organization founded in 1961, serving over 5,200 children and adults across Chicago's greater Fox Valley region (DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, McHenry, suburban Cook, and Will counties). AID provides behavioral health, crisis intervention, developmental disabilities, employment, and supportive housing services, including autism programs and outpatient mental health care spanning early childhood through adulthood.
