About Ardmore
Ardmore, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1976, dedicated to supporting adults and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism in the Akron, Ohio area. Originally established as a grassroots response to the downsizing of the Apple Creek Developmental Center, Ardmore provides residential programs with daily supervision for approximately 51 individuals, a day habilitation program serving 27 individuals focused on skill development and personal care, and foster care and community services supporting 65 individuals in independent living. Ardmore is not an ABA therapy provider but serves overlapping populations including individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
