Angela Hess

Owner and Director

Dr. Angela Beth Hess, BCBA-D, LBA founded Applied Behavior and Learning Consultants in 2017. She earned her B.A. in Education from Towson University (2003), M.A. in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University (2013), and Ph.D. from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (2021). Dr. Hess has been working with individuals with special needs since 2004 and practicing ABA since 2009. She has extensive experience with birth-21 age groups and specializes in early language development, toilet training, social skills training, social-emotional skills regulation, and parent and caregiver education. She utilizes ABA and Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACTr) in her practice.

30+ years working with children and adults with special needs. Master's degree from McDaniel College (2017). ABA practice since 2014. Specializes in teens and young adults, social-emotional development, and parent/caregiver education.

Emma Mayne

Undergraduate in Psychology from UMBC (2014), Master's in ABA from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (2017). Working with special needs since 2011, ABA since 2014. Specializes in social skills training, toilet training, and daily living skills.

Kristina Cutter

Assistant Clinical Supervisor

B.S. in Psychology with ABA focus from West Virginia University (2015). Working with children since 2007, ABA since 2013. Certified BCaBA in June 2021, later obtained BCBA. Experience across homes, communities, clinics, and schools with ages 18 months-18 years. Specializes in social and play skills, behavioral reduction, and communication.
