About Angelwood
Angelwood is a nonprofit organization founded in 1993 by Sally Fox, a Jacksonville news anchor and single mother of two daughters with developmental differences. What began as one group home for three children has grown into a comprehensive provider serving over 300 individuals and families across Northeast Florida. Angelwood serves children, adults, seniors, and families living with intellectual and developmental differences including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, and Spina Bifida. The organization provides residential group homes, behavior analysis services (ABA therapy), adult day training, supported employment, respite care, summer and holiday camps, and community integration programs. Angelwood's Behavior Analysis Services employ Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs) who conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and design individualized behavior plans using research-based interventions for children and adults with challenging behaviors. Angelwood is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a Charity Navigator score of 93% and a Four-Star rating.
