Action for Autism is a welcoming environment, offering tremendous support and opportunities for individuals wanting to grow in the field. Consistent full-time hours and plenty of supervision, with on-site BCBAs readily available. The work-life balance is excellent — no weekends and nothing scheduled past 4 p.m.

Underpaid and overworked
They do not pay enough. They make it sound like you are paid for holidays and breaks but you really aren't. They do not give raises. Administration are some of the worst people I have ever met. Admin doesn't really care about their employees and make them feel like they aren't worth it.

Could be great with different administration
The place could be great with different administration. Overworked, underpaid, and stressed. Executive management want money, don't know how to balance care for the employees and profits.

No raises and terrible benefits. Great team members who are fantastic at interdisciplinary practice. But administration, underpaid work, and high stress jobs at times.

Poor management and high turnover
Management is very poor. There is no communication or support for the employees there. Turnover was high. The culture is not good, with people constantly talking behind each other's backs.

Massive support system from BCBAs
There is a massive support system at AFA especially from BCBAs. Flexible scheduling and not being assigned to the same child all day keeps work varied.
