About Achievement Centers For Children
Achievement Centers for Children is a Northeast Ohio-based nonprofit founded in 1940 (originally as the Society for Crippled Children). The organization empowers children and adults with disabilities to achieve their greatest potential through holistic and family-focused services. Their comprehensive model includes an Autism School, therapy services (occupational, physical, speech/language, and intensive burst therapy), adapted sports, Camp Cheerful for children and adults with disabilities, therapeutic horsemanship, behavioral health counseling, family support services, and adult day programming. They served over 3,000 individuals and families with 194,201 service hours in a recent fiscal year.
