About Abilities First Foundation
Abilities First Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 1958 in Middletown, Ohio, that empowers individuals and families living with differing abilities to discover and fulfill their unique potential within their communities. The organization operates three integrated programs under one roof: an Autism Learning Center (accredited pre-K through 2nd grade for children on the autism spectrum), an Early Childhood Learning Center (inclusive state-licensed daycare for typical and special needs children ages 6 weeks to 10 years), and Pediatric Therapies (outpatient occupational, physical, and speech therapy for children birth through young adulthood). Abilities First serves children with a wide range of developmental disabilities including cerebral palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, learning disabilities, and language and cognitive impairments across seven Ohio counties.
