About The Helping House
The Helping House is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit private school and autism resource center in Nacogdoches, TX, founded in 2008 by teacher Amanda Johnson and parent Josie Johnson. It provides early intervention services (Day Program, Summer Clinic, Social Skills Group) for children ages 18 months to 16 years with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental delays, using low student-to-teacher ratios and structured programming.
