About The Center for Discovery
The Center for Discovery is a nonprofit designated as a New York State Center of Excellence, operating a 1,500-acre campus in the Mid-Hudson region of Harris, NY. It provides residential, medical, and special-education programs — including a Children's Specialty Hospital, day school, adult programs, and transition services — for over 1,700 children and adults with autism, complex developmental disabilities, and medical fragility, using its 'SynergE6' whole-health model that integrates behavioral supports, nutrition, and therapeutic arts.
