About The Arc of Central Alabama
The Arc of Central Alabama is a Birmingham-based nonprofit founded in 1952 serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) across two Alabama counties. It supports more than 700 individuals through Early Intervention, Community Day Services, Employment Placement, Residential Services, and a Behavior Support department that delivers ABA-based Behavior Support Plans under BCBA supervision. ABA is one of several programs in a broader IDD service portfolio rather than the organization's sole focus.
