About Texas Young Autism Project
Texas Young Autism Project (TYAP) is a Houston-founded ABA treatment provider, established roughly 20 years ago by Dr. Gerald Harris in collaboration with a local family-support group and Dr. O. Ivar Lovaas, describing itself as the first ABA treatment program for children with autism in Texas. TYAP operates two clinics (Houston and Katy) offering day treatment, parent-directed programs, school services, evaluations, speech, feeding, and social-skills services.
