Began her career as a paraprofessional in a Connecticut preschool speech program, earned her graduate degree from the University of the District of Columbia with hospital-based training in feeding/swallowing disorders, and is PROMPT and oral-motor certified. Named one of Connecticut Magazine's top 40 professionals under 40 in 2012.
