About Perkins School for the Blind
Founded in 1829, Perkins School for the Blind is a nonprofit international NGO in Watertown, MA serving children and adults who are blind, visually impaired, deafblind, or have multiple disabilities. Programs span early intervention, a residential/day school, teacher training, assistive technology (Perkins Braillers), a Braille and Talking Book Library, and international partnerships in 67 countries. Behavior support staff (BCBAs, ABA therapists, job coaches) work within its educational and residential programs.
