About Exceptional Learners Collaborative
Exceptional Learners Collaborative (ELC) is a special education cooperative formed via joint agreement among four Lake County, Illinois school districts (Kildeer Countryside SD96, Lincolnshire-Prairie View SD103, Adlai E. Stevenson HS SD125, and non-voting member Fox Lake Grade SD114), operating since the 2015-2016 school year. ELC provides related services — including Board Certified Behavior Analysis, occupational/physical/speech therapy, audiology, vision/O&M, psychology/social work, assistive technology, and vocational/transition services — to students ages 3-22 across communities in Chicago's northern suburbs.
