Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) is the state government agency responsible for health and human services across Colorado, operating divisions covering Behavioral Health, Children Youth & Families, Community Access & Independence, Early Childhood, Vocational Rehabilitation, and state-run Community Living/Mental Health facilities. Some divisions and state facilities employ or contract Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs.
