About CARD Center for Autism and Related Disorders
CARD (Center for Autism and Related Disorders) is one of the largest and longest-running ABA therapy providers in the U.S., founded in 1990 by Dr. Doreen Granpeesheh. It offers center-based, home-based, and telehealth ABA services, early intervention, parent training, and social skills programs for individuals with autism across 18 states. CARD was acquired by Blackstone in 2018, grew to roughly 265 locations, then filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June 2023 amid $245M in debt; its assets were split in a bankruptcy sale between founder-led Pantogran LLC and Audax Group-backed Proud Moments ABA/New Story.
