About Behavior Change Institute
Behavior Change Institute (BCI) is a New Mexico-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) provider founded in 2014 by Dr. Joy Pollard and Kathleen Karimi, delivering autism diagnostics, ABA therapy, and virtual caregiver consultation to rural and underserved communities across southern and northern New Mexico and western Texas from clinics in Alamogordo, Aztec, and Roswell. In February 2026, BCI was acquired by Center for Social Dynamics (CSD), a national ABA provider backed by Goldman Sachs Alternatives, as a tuck-in acquisition; BCI's founders remain in leadership roles within the combined organization.
