About Avita Community Partners
Avita Community Partners is a northeast Georgia behavioral health organization established by the 1993 Georgia State Legislature, originally operating as Georgia Mountains Community Services (GMCS). It serves individuals and families affected by mental illness, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and addictive diseases across 13 counties in northeast Georgia. The organization operates 21 locations and holds CARF Three-Year Accreditation.
