About Appleseeds Behavioral Center
Appleseeds Behavioral Center (formerly Appleseeds Learning Center) is a BHCOE-accredited ABA therapy provider founded in 2013 by Emma Chenoweth in Kennesaw, GA. The center provides Applied Behavior Analysis therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder ages 18 months to 15 years. Founded when Georgia insurance did not yet cover ABA therapy, Appleseeds began with two therapists and five clients and expanded significantly after Ava's Law passed in 2015, growing from a 3,000 sq ft to an 8,000 sq ft facility. The center offers in-clinic, in-home, and community-based ABA services, speech therapy, an Early Intervention PreK Program, social skills programming, and parent training across locations in Kennesaw and Rome, GA, with in-home services in the Atlanta metro area. Appleseeds holds both BHCOE Full Accreditation and Training Site Accreditation. Note: The center was the subject of a 2015 police investigation regarding child assault allegations; the director denied all allegations and no charges were filed based on available public records.
