About Allies Inc.
Allies Inc. is a nonprofit agency founded in 1999 in Hamilton Township, NJ, dedicated to providing housing, healthcare, meaningful employment, and recreational activities to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). An affiliate of the Woods System of Care since 2012, Allies has grown from two volunteers to over 750 employees serving individuals across 20 New Jersey counties. The organization develops person-centered behavioral support plans using the scientific theory of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), focusing on how behaviors change or are affected by the environment. Services span children's programs (intensive residential treatment ages 14-18, crisis stabilization ages 12-19, IDD treatment homes ages 12-18), adult services (residential, day habilitation, vocational, Project Grow horticultural therapy), and integrated support services (behavioral health, nursing, in-home support). Allies holds CARF accreditation and a 4-star Charity Navigator rating, reflecting strong accountability in its mission to foster independence for children and adults with diverse needs.
