I already have nothing but good things to say about Akoya! They're one of the most friendly staff for ABA that I have ever met! They also are amazing when it comes to therapy!

Fantastic experience
The work environment at Akoya is spectacular! The staff is so supportive, even as an in-home worker I always feel uplifted by my coworkers and management.

Great support system
I like that there's a lot of support here. It can be hard to find that at ABA companies. Management is willing to work with employees on their schedules and understanding if they need to call out sick.

Smooth onboarding and quality training
Recruiter was amazing, very knowledgeable and helpful; you can tell she is invested. The onboarding was smooth and the training was great — much better than my previous company. I had plenty of support getting started.

BCBAs are amazing and supportive
The BCBAs are amazing and super supportive. Good communication from the clinical team and management. A growing company with a lot of opportunity.

Inconsistent management and expectations
I worked at Akoya and experienced constant misdirection and inconsistency between management, ownership, and expectations. I was often told one thing, only to have something completely different happen.

Block scheduling challenges
Transitioning to block schedules can be hard for in-home clients. The company tries to accommodate but the change can be difficult.
