About Advantage Behavioral Health Systems
Advantage Behavioral Health Systems (ABHS) is a publicly-funded Community Service Board (CSB) providing person-centered treatment and recovery support to individuals and families experiencing behavioral health challenges, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and addictive diseases. Established in 1972 as the Northeast Georgia Center and reorganized as a CSB in 1994 under House Bill 100, ABHS serves as the safety-net provider for 10 counties in Northeast Georgia. They offer a wide range of services including crisis stabilization, outpatient behavioral health, substance use treatment, developmental disability supports, and community-based programs. ABHS is CARF-accredited and employs over 300 staff members.
