About Advanced Institute for Development and Learning
The Advanced Institute for Development and Learning (AID-L) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Greenville, SC that provides pediatric speech-language pathology and feeding therapy services for children with special needs and their families. Founded around 2015 by Samantha Zimmerschied, AID-L serves the Upstate South Carolina region with individualized, evidence-based treatment. The organization also offers community support programs including respite care (Parents Night Out), Social Saturday events, and sensory-focused programming. AID-L treats over 250 children weekly and has served over 400 families.
