About Acorn Health - Autism Centers of Michigan
Acorn Health is a national provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Founded in 2018 by MBF Healthcare Partners and CEO Vicki Kroviak, the company has grown through aggressive acquisitions to operate 70+ centers across seven states (Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia). In Michigan, Acorn Health operates under the 'Autism Centers of Michigan' brand with 20 locations statewide. The company combines scientifically-validated ABA best practices with what it calls 'pioneering next practices,' serving children as young as 18 months through center-based, home-based, and school-based therapy. Acorn Health is backed by Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board, which acquired a majority stake in 2021.
