Certifynd ABA

New Hampshire

Optional/BACB Only

New Hampshire does not have state licensure requirements for behavior analysts. Practitioners need only BACB certification (BCBA or BCaBA) to practice. However, Connor's Law (HB 569) requires state-regulated health insurance to cover ABA therapy provided by or under supervision of BACB-certified professionals.

Additional Information

New Hampshire does not require state licensure for behavior analysts. However, Connor's Law (HB 569) is significant: it mandates state-regulated health insurance coverage for ABA therapy by BACB-certified practitioners, creating a de facto BACB requirement for reimbursable services. The Board of Mental Health Practice regulates other mental health professions but NOT behavior analysts.
