No state-specific requirements. Follow BACB certification requirements: Master's degree for BCBA with approved coursework in behavior analysis. Beginning 2026, coursework verification through BACB Pathway 2 Course Attestation System.
No state-specific requirements. Follow BACB certification requirements: 2,000 hours of supervised fieldwork (40% restricted, 60% unrestricted as of 2025).

Delaware is one of approximately 11 states without state licensure for behavior analysts. School-based behavior analyst positions may require additional credentials: Delaware's School Behavior Analyst Standard Certificate requires either BCBA from BACB or QBA (Qualified Behavior Analyst) from QABAB (Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board). DEABA has been advocating for state licensure since 2010 and called for BCBA regulation in schools in July 2023.
